Afternoons on Sullivan Street
Soho, NYC

Sullivan Street is one of my favorite streets in Soho.  Luckily, my little sister lives on it – and let me crash with her at the tale end of my NYC trip a few weeks back.  She’s directly across from the most amazing bakery; Once Upon A Tart – a place where I can easily get my chocolate fix…their vegan chocolate cake is out of this world!   I packed a silk maxi skirt as a random/last minute extra to have in my bag and am so glad I did.  I ended up wearing it styled two different ways – like this, and then with a lace cami + suede jacket to meet friends for drinks.  Maxi skirts can be tricky to pull off especially if you’re on the shorter side, so try and find either a midi skirt OR a maxi skirt that doesn’t have a ton of fabric and is cut on the narrow side.  This white button down is a summer staple – and if you don’t already own one you can snap one up here.  Speaking of summer staples – I just stocked up on a ton of simple string bikinis from J.Crew because they’re all 40% off.  I love the way their suits are cut – their bottoms offer just the right amount of coverage.  So many bathing suit bottoms these days are either way too skimpy or way too baggy!  With summer right around the corner, be sure to head to my summer page for outfit inspo!

Gerard Darel skirt (also love this one) // Rails button down c/o
Banana Republic jacket (similar) // Sam Edelman sandals
Celine bag (also love this one) // Vintage sunnies (similar)
