I had a meeting at the beautiful Peninsula Paris hotel last week and wore this midi dress with my favorite Burberry trench. The Peninsula rooftop has the most gorgeous view of the Eiffel Tower – I highly recommend having lunch or a cocktail up there. When I bought this trench at Nordstrom last year I had no idea how much use I would get out of it. I’ve been able to style it in the fall, winter, spring, and now summer (Paris gets a bit chillier at night.) I chose the long version of the “Kensington” trench (I’m almost 5’7″) while my girlfriend who is 5’4″ loves her classic version – both are available at Nordstrom. With fall quickly approaching I can’t think of a better coat to invest in!

Trenches are so fantastic because they are light weight enough you can wear them all the time. But they usually provide enough room that you can wear layers under if necessary. You look beautiful, Kat!
