It was such a treat to be back in Rome. Talun and I stayed at the beautiful Gran Melia hotel which was a 5 minute walk from the Vatican. We loved wandering around the city – particularly the Trastevere neighborhood – which has a similar vibe to the West Village. We stumbled upon a wonderful little restaurant called Osteria da Fortunata where a woman was hand rolling pasta in the window! We ordered the pesto and carbonora which were both to-die-for. We tried a few other restaurants on our trip including; Life, Jardin de Russie, and Giolitti for gelato. Giolitti was right by the Pantheon so we managed to squeeze in a little sightseeing beforehand. Believe it or not these leopard heels are extremely comfortable – even in Rome’s cobblestone streets. I’m thinking I may need them in this fun pink color!
