This past August I embarked on a 35-day solo road trip along the coast of Southern California. I had the best time exploring Laguna Beach, Santa Barbara, La Jolla, Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Palm Springs. I stayed at all sorts of places – boutique hotels (booked with the help of travel agency Two Nights In), Airbnbs (I LOVED this one in Venice), and friends/family’s homes (thanks to everyone who let me crash!) If you’re considering traveling alone – I highly recommend it. The sense of freedom that comes from being on the road – with no one else’s agenda but your own – is empowering and exciting. My road trip wasn’t all smooth sailing (what trip ever is?) – I got lost several times (I’m directionally challenged LOL) but it only added to the adventure. This is great! Thanks for sharing. When I went to Cali last summer I hit up Laguna Beach, and it was just breathtaking.

Seems like a great trip to enjoy, relax, reflect on things in life. Sometimes we all need a moment of time to our own to discover that we are actually so small and just a tiny dot to the massive world out there! :)
Great locations of California! :)
