Happy Monday! I had so much fun putting up my tree and decorating my place for Christmas last week. You may remember my NYC Christmas decor from years past! I switched things up a bit this year and did an all white/bohemian decor vibe to fit with my California beach house. I’ve never had a white tree before and love how light and airy this one looks! I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a tree skirt (they’re oddly expensive!!!) so I threw a plaid scarf around the base. I got my stockings here and my ornaments here. I wanted to condense all of my gift guides this year and instead focus on things I genuinely LOVE and would be happy to give or receive. Without further ado….my 2017 Holiday Gift Guide for her!
- Candles…but not just any candles!
Who doesn’t love candles? Over the years, I have become quite the candle connoisseur LOLLLL and these ones are my favorites and make the chicest gift for any gal; Diptyque Vanille or Votive candle set, Atelier Cologne Santal Carmin, and Byredo Bibliotheque.
- Perfume
Perfume can be tricky since everyone has different preferences, BUT I’ve tested my fair share over the years and always take note of which ones my girlfriends borrow when they come over. Here are the winners; Diptyque Eau Duelle (my signature scent), Aerin Tuberose Le Soir (for anyone obsessed with roses), and Byredo Gypsy Water (every “it” girl has this on her nighstand.) -
Cosmetic Bags
I always get so many questions about my cosmetic bags! I use this fun printed one from St. Frank in all sizes, this leather monogrammed one from Cuyana (also a great bridesmaid gift), and this ikat one from Madeline Weinrib. -
Jewelry
I rotate between 3 jewelry designers; Julie Vos who makes these gorgeous gold coin earrings and pendant necklace, Chupi who makes this unique star sign necklace (fun for someone who is into astrology!), and Missoma who makes the dainty gold necklaces I always layer. -
Scarves
I just bought this Rag & Bone scarf for my sister and had to get one for myself too! The J.Crew scarf selection is on major sale right now and a scarf + pair of leather gloves from there would make such a lovely gift! -
Fedora
I just did some serious damage at my favorite hat shop…Janessa Leone. This is the hat I was wearing in my instagram post for those of you asking! You can never have too many hats and these flatter everyone ;) -
Monogrammed Leather Travel Accessories
Get your mom, sister, or bestie a personalized passport holder, luggage tag, or datebook from my collection with Gigi New York! They come in tons of different colors and are beautiful mixed and matched together. -
Crossbody Bag
Take advantage of Gigi’s Cyber Monday sale and get 35% off the crossbody bag I designed! I wear mine as a clutch at night, on my shoulder during the day, and as a crossbody to run errands. Even more splurgeworthy bags…my go-to Mansur Gavriel bucket bag, or this classic Gucci.
-
Gift Sets + Stocking Stuffers
Sometimes gift sets can be cheesy right? And they can feel impersonal – sooooo I’ve narrowed down the best ones here! I love this Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk set and I love making my own gift set using a combo of luxury products from Tocca, Voluspa, and Herbivore. For stocking stuffers – get your gal this Deborah Lippman trio nail polish pack, my fave everyday YSL eyeshadow palette (in Saharienne), or this Fresh lip balm kit. -
Coffee Table Books
I can’t get enough coffee table books. I love the Chanel book set, Humans of New York, Love Style Life by Garance Dore, any Ina Garten cookbook, and statement books like this Tom Ford one.
Such a lovely photos and a great gift guide!
