My Favorite Loungewear

We’ve all been spending way more time at home than usual, so I wanted to share some of my favorite loungewear pieces. These are all affordable, soft, and flattering! Best Cozy Loungewear Workout/everyday black leggings These ALO leggings are a DREAM. They’re high waisted and legit the best leggings I’ve ever worn. They run true to size (I wear a small), although if you’re short, I would size down. I wash them normally and even put them in the dryer, and they’ve held up beautifully. I LOVE that they don’t slip down when I’m being active and don’t squeeze your waist in the wrong places like so many other leggings do. Loungewear set I lost the top of this set, but I wear the pants ALL the time. They feel like pajamas (the material is SO soft), but look like nicer than your typical pajama bottoms so I don’t feel guilty wearing them around the house during the day. They run true to size! Cozy joggers I have 2 pairs of these because I wear them 24/7. They’re the perfect soft, cotton jogger that doesn’t pinch at the waist. They run true to size, and are acceptable to wear out in public for a casual grocery run or to walk your dog! Sherpa jacket This fuzzy jacket sold out at Nordstrom, but it’s still in stock in multiple colors here! It’s so thick and cozy. I LIVE in this on chilly days. The fact that it’s cropped makes it 10x cuter than any other sherpa jacket! This is a less expensive option. Long cardigan I have this cardigan in grey and it’s the perfect, basic long cardigan to throw over leggings and a t-shirt. Long sleeve bodysuit I have this bodysuit in 2 colors and it’s beyond flattering on and goes with everything. There’s something about wearing a bodysuit that makes me feel more put together – especially when I’m home working. The V-neck version is great as well! Crew neck sweatshirt You can’t go wrong with this $10 crew neck sweatshirt. It comes in tons of colors and is a best seller for a reason. And this cream crew neck from Stripe & Stare has quickly become a favorite – it’s legit the softest thing I’ve ever worn. Henley shirt I bought this shirt in the short sleeve white version, long sleeve white version, and white sleeve tan version. Such a classic style, that looks perfect tucked into sweats or jeans. Slippers These slippers are to die for. Your whole foot is covered in warm, soft shearling – YES PLEASE! Also love these! Nip covers I’ve been wearing these for years, and usually opt for them over a bra. They’re seamless, comfortable, and hassle free. I cannot recommend them enough! Cozy Loungewear

Thomas and I had a relaxing Valentine’s Day at home yesterday. He cooked me dinner and we indulged in one too many treats! It was so nice to unwind together after a busy week. I wore this cozy loungewear for our romantic night in. Cozy LoungewearThis grey cardigan is SO reasonable (it’s under $8!!!) and comes in several colors. It’s made of such a nice, thick material and drapes perfectly. My pet peeve with long cardigans is when they don’t stay on your shoulders, are too thin, or get stretched out. This one stays put and is really good quality! It’s from a line that I buy a ton of my cozy loungewear from; Walmart Fashion’s Time and Tru collection. All of the pieces are so classic, affordable, and high quality. Classic DenimI’ve always loved a stretchy, mid rise skinny jean. They’re so flattering and when you find ones like these black ones – you never want to take them off! I can’t wear low rise jeans anymore – they just aren’t practical for my lifestyle (I’m always bending over to pick up Charlie!) and stretch is a necessity! A few other jeans I like are; these light wash ones, these ripped hem ones, and these light grey distressed ones. Also be sure to check out this page for even more denim styles! Henley T-shirtsI bought 3 of these cotton henley t-shirts because I knew I would wear them all the time. The short sleeve white one I’m wearing here is my FAVE. I also got it in the long sleeve version, and the tan color. It’s a great basic that you can layer or wear alone. I know I’ll wear this short sleeve one all spring/summer long. Spring Transition PiecesSpeaking of spring, Walmart Fashion has a ton of cute items for the upcoming season (which I am COUNTING DOWN until!) I love that their SCOOP collection always has classic yet on trend pieces that I can easily mix and match. I just ordered this white v-neck sweater, this elegant paisley skirt, and this chic sweater tank. Shop more of my favorite pieces from Walmart Fashion below like this sweater dress and these corduroy jeans I wear all the time (I have them in the ivory color.) Enjoy your weekend!

Winter Whites

I love a winter white outfit – especially for holiday parties. It’s fresh, feminine and a welcome change from the sea of black and sparkles everyone is wearing! I basically haven’t taken off this beautiful white Ann Taylor coat since I got it a few weeks ago. I’m so impressed with the quality – it’s kept me nice and warm despite the chilly temps! FYI I found that it ran true to size. I’m wearing a small here which was perfect with a thick sweater underneath. If you’re on the shorter side, and want to wear only a light blouse or cami with it – you would definitely be ok sizing down! *It sadly just sold out, but I LOVE this light grey wrap coat which has a similar look/feel. The Perfect White TrousersI paired this gorgeous winter white coat (this is also a great coat!) with these tailored white trousers that fit like a glove. I found that they ran pretty true to size, BUT if you’re in between sizes, I’d size down. I’m wear a size 2 here and normally wear a 2 or 4. These perfect white trousers are SUCH a versatile piece that every woman needs in her closet – no, seriously. They’ll be perfect in the spring with a silk cami, T-shirt, or light button down. This holiday season, I’ll be pairing them with camel sweaters like this one, chunky knits, and elegant tops like this one. Holiday Outfit and Work Attire IdeasIf you’re looking for holiday outfit inspiration, or even cute work attire, pair these trousers with this sweater and these pretty pumps. Add a pop of leopard to mix things up or an elegant pearl hoop earring (so unique right?) I also LOVE the idea of adding a subtle accessory like this classic printed silk scarf around your neck or tied to a simple black leather bag. I would even get super creative and have this scarf framed for my office or living room! So chic. Festive Accessories and GiftsAnn Taylor has such great accessories which would make great gifts for yourself or your loved ones! In addition to the printed scarf I mentioned above (need!), I highly recommend getting this cashmere beanie, these cashmere gloves, this lucite clutch, these pearl drop earrings and these suede heeled booties. Shop my entire look below along with all of my fun holiday outfit and gift picks!

My Valentine's Day Self Care Rituals

Happy Valentine’s Day!  Whether you like this holiday or not, it’s a nice reminder to pamper yourself!  I wanted to share a few things I plan on doing today – and that I like doing in general to treat myself ;) Self Care Rituals Face Mask My all time favorite face mask is the Sisley Black Rose mask.  100% splurge worthy.  I ran out of that one though, so I plan on using this Eve Lom radiance mask.  It feels really good on, but it’s not nearly as moisturizing as the Sisley one feels if I’m being completely honest! Hydrate I start every morning with hot lemon water, then my signature green juice.  The recipe is; celery, cucumber, fennel, broccoli, and 1/2 a green apple.  If I can’t find fennel I use parsley and swiss chard. Lymph Drainage After I shower, I put a drop of Vintner’s Daughter serum (another splurge worthy item that makes my skin glow and totally minimizes your pores so you feel more confident wearing less makeup.)  I layer that with one of my face oils, and use the Clarisonic Firming Massage Head to de-puff my face. Makeup I wait to put makeup on until I have to – so I often try to go 3-4 days a week without wearing anything.  Tonight, Derek and I have plans to cook at home, so I won’t be doing a full face of makeup, but I still want to do a little something to look more awake!  I’ll put on a bit of Cle de Beaute concealer, Armani foundation, Bobbi Brown bronzer, Charlotte Tilbury highlighter, Laura Mercier caviar eye stick, and Bobbi Brown mascara.  This is my go-to everyday makeup routine that creates a really subtle, natural look. Candles I’ve been burning Goop #2 during the day in my kitchen, but for a more romantic evening, I love Diptyque Vanille, and Byredo Bibliotheque so I’ll probably light either of those! Bubble Bath I love taking a hot bath in the morning or right before I go out at night.  I use epsom salt from Amazon (I buy it in bulk.)  It’s the perfect way to get the magnesium we all need!  I also love the Goop bath salts – particularly these 3 scents. Comfy Clothes I like to be as comfortable as possible when I’m getting ready to go out, or working from home, so I wear either a terry cloth robe, Eberjey pajamas – or these Cuyana sweatpants that I just got from their new loungewear line.  Seriously they’re my new favorite sweatpants.  As a top, I’ll wear this cute grey Sol Angeles sweatshirt. Beauty Sleep At the end of a long day, there’s nothing better than a goodnight sleep – and getting to bed early!  I’m a total night owl (most creatives are!), but I love falling asleep before 10PM when I can.  Bliss!  I wear this silk eye mask every night, and sleep in Restoration Hardware linen sheets.  Once you go linen, you won’t go back – trust me!  I also love these sheets from The Citizenry.
