My favorite matcha spot in NYC has finally landed in LA. They have 2 locations - one in Venice on Abbot Kinney, and one in West Hollywood. Their matcha is delicious and the frozen yogurt is a MUST!

This bakery and restaurant in Venice is one of my favorites. I always take my dad here for dinner when he's in town. Order a side of their homemade bread with garlic butter to start - you won't be disappointed - I dream about this bread! I personally prefer this spot for dinner, but they do have a great brunch/lunch menu!

Blue Star Donuts

This is the best donut spot I've ever been to! Located right in Abbot Kinney, this tiny shop makes the freshest, yummiest donuts in the world. Coming from me, that says a lot because I actually never liked donuts until trying these! The matcha and raspberry are my FAVE - trust me.

This celebrity hotspot is an American steakhouse with some of the best parmesan truffle fries I've ever had! Reservations are hard to get, but I recommend heading there around 6PM and grabbing a seat at the bar where you can also enjoy the full menu!

This unassuming Italian restaurant off PCH is a not-so-secret celebrity favorite spot for everyone from Drake, to Rihanna, the Kardashians and Courtney Cox. The decor is nothing fancy, and the bread + apps are ehhh, but the pasta will knock your socks off. Do not leave without trying the pappardelle white truffle pasta!!!!

Gluten + dairy + sugar free ice cream?! Yes please! This delicious ice cream is made of only coconut cream and honey. It's ahhhmazing and was a weekly must for me when I lived in LA. Get the matcha and dark chocolate with hot fudge (made of only cacao + honey + coconut oil!)

Blue Ribbon Sushi

My favorite restaurant in NYC has come to LA! Head to this cozy, casual spot in the Palisades Village for a delicious dinner. Their sushi is so fresh and the tempura is delicious!

This laid back cafe (also in NYC) is located at the Malibu Country Mart and a perfect spot for a boozy brunch. They're super dog friendly and their salads as well as chips + guac are to die for!

Head to Nobu Malibu for stunning ocean views, a beautiful crowd and delicious sushi. It's worth the wait and the drive! Dress to impress.

This see and be seen trendy spot actually has REALLY good food. So often hot spots are disappointing in terms of food - but this place lives up to it's hype. Fun before a night out.

Some of the best sushi in LA is from Sugarfish. The restaurants are tiny and packed (it's a chain) so I like to get a box of their very instagrammable colorful sushi to-go on a cozy weekday night.

Sweet Laurel Bakery

This gluten free bakery located in the Palisades Village is bubblegum pink and so darling! It's full of the most delicious baked goods and they have one of the best matcha lattes in town!

You may know Ruby's from NYC - this is their LA location which is right by the beach in Santa Monica. They have great burgers, fries and salads. Fun brunch/lunch spot!

This chic breakfast, lunch or dinner spot is right in West Hollywood. The decor is BEYOND and the food is delicious - you'll want to stay and people watch for hours.

This cute little café in Silver Lake is perfect for sitting outside and people watching on a nice afternoon. It's super unassuming, understated, and casual... but the food will knock your socks off! I love getting the salmon bowl!

Plant Food and Wine

The most gorgeous vegan restaurant in LA. Matthew Kenney's restaurant on Abbot Kinney will wow you! It has the most magical garden with olive trees and light dangling all around you, and the restaurant serves up the most colorful, delicious food. Go here for dinner!

This new LA hotspot is impossible to get a table at for good reason. The white/beachy decor is bohemian and relaxed, and the cocktails are amazing. Go for brunch, lunch, or dinner... and enjoy the stunning view!

Croft Alley is the retro-chic 24/7 gourmet dinner of your dreams! Located at The Standard Hollywood, the food is as good as it looks! They also have a location on Melrose, which is perfect for lunch after a full day of shopping.

Felix Trattoria

Homemade pasta in Venice, this downtown vibe restaurant feels like it should be in New York City... but it is right on Abbot Kinney! Order any of the pasta dishes! You won’t be disappointed!

Head to the iconic Bev Hills hotel for lunch at the Polo lounge followed by a pool day. Go hungry! They are famous for their giant portion sizes. Dress to impress!

This Aussie café is the newest addition to Venice Beach. The décor and ambiance are so charming. Sit right under the Venice sign and people watch while you eat your avocado toast and sip on your matcha latte. The food is colorful, fresh, and healthy. Enjoy!

This gourmet market in Venice is easily one of my favorites. Head there for delicious smoothies, pre-made lunch items, and fresh produce.

Pop into Alfred Tea on Melrose for a yummy matcha, latte or boba tea!

Head to Rose Café with a group of friends and sit outside under the lights. Their plates are meant to be shared. You can't go wrong with their pasta and pizzas. Come hungry!

This iconic LA staple is right on Abbott Kinney and the attitude that you get is worth it because the food is pretty amazing. All of their veggie dishes are delicious as well as their pizza. Definitely make a reservation in advance.

Butcher's Daughter

Head to Venice and stop by the newest Butcher's Daughter location, right on Abbot Kinney Blvd. Their egg sandwiches are amazing and so is their acai bowl.

Fun indoor/outdoor vegan Mexican spot just off Melrose. Great place to go for happy hour to meet friends... try their sangria!

I love this spot for lunch or happy hour. They have a great fire pit/outdoor seating area and delicious salads.

With beautiful florals and French country décor, this is the ultimate ladies who lunch spot. You're sure to see a celebrity or two while you're there! Make sure to order the red velvet cake... they're famous for it.

This is a gourmet restaurant, bakery, and market located within the Brentwood Country Mart. Grab a latte or croissant to go while you do a little shopping in the area.

Venture up the coast to Malibu Farm where everything is fresh, organic, and local. It's right on the famous Malibu Pier so the view is stunning.

A lively brunch spot with cool décor. Order the waffles and eggs - you won't be disappointed!

Joan's On Third

Casual lunch spot/marketplace with a little bit of everything. I love ordering one of their paninis and a big salad to split with a friend. Joan' is definitely a favorite amongst locals.
