My Favorite Cocktails

Soho, NY

Thomas and I have had so much fun making cocktails this past year during quarantine, so I wanted to share my favorites here with you! I am VERY picky about my cocktails and the alcohol + ingredients that go into them. I love to indulge, but I don’t want to feel like sh*t the next day, and making sure I choose the highest quality ingredients insures that I won’t! For 21+ only…

My Favorite Cocktails

Extra Dirty Martini

When I’m at a restaurant I ask for an extra dirty martini with Belvedere vodka (it’s the purest!) and no vermouth. When I’m home this is how I make it! This cocktail packs a punch and you only need 1 or 2! What I love about it is it’s salty, pairs deliciously with cheese, and has 0 carbs or sugar. These are the martini glasses I use.

Rosé

A simple glass of light, crisp rosé is a go-to for me in the summer. I don’t love a super sweet or dark rosé and prefer a French one over an Italian rosé. My favorite brands are Whispering Angel, Domaine Ott and Minuty. It’s fun to make frosé with ice in a blender on a super hot day.

Piña Colada

We had fresh piña coladas in Palm Beach the other week and OMG they are SO tasty. It instantly makes you feel like you’re on vacation. With only coconut milk, pineapple, ice and rum – this is a relatively “clean” cocktail that packs a fruity punch!

Cucumber Martini

If you have a juicer, juice 1 cucumber and add in 2 shots of vodka plus 1 tsp simple syrup. Shake over ice and enjoy – it’s soooo simple + yummy.

Lemon Drop Martini

When I’m craving something citrusy, I simply juice 1 lemon, add 2 shots of vodka and 1 tsp of simple syrup to a shaker and pour in a martini glass (or over ice if you want to dilute it!) Add ginger and blend with ice to make a lemon ginger slushee!

Watermelon Lime Vodka

Mix 1 cup of watermelon juice, juice from 1/2 lime, 1.5-2 shots of vodka and muddle mint for a delicious, summery cocktail!

Mojito

This is such a flavorful, refreshing drink that combines mint, lime, and club soda. It’s typically made with rum, but sometimes I do vodka instead of rum! You can add a bit of simple syrup to sweeten if needed.

If you’re interested in making cocktails at home, these are some of our most used shakers! This one is a beautiful hammered silver shaker, my sister got me this chic brass set for Christmas, and I love the classic look of this one. What are some of your favorite cocktails? I love trying new recipes so feel free to share below :) And please drink responsibly!
