Welcome to my LA closet! I turned half of my guest bedroom here in LA into a walk in closet/office and set up a designated dressing area in the far corner. This space has become the perfect nook for me to get ready and helps me stay organized and inspired. I am so excited about the latest addition to my closet; the Amazon Echo Look. This sleek + chic little device has proven to be a total game changer when I’m getting ready. I simply place it on either my window ledge or shoe shelf (it can go anywhere at shoulder height) and say “Alexa take a photo.” The Echo Look immediately lights up, takes a high res full length photo of my outfit, and automatically uploads it to the Echo Look app on my phone. The device instantly blurs the background of the photo and brightens it which makes the outfit I’m wearing pop (so no more poorly lit/bad quality phone photos for me – yay!) If I’m unsure of what accessory to wear with my look, or want to change a particular part of my outfit, I can have the Echo Look take a second photo of me which I can then upload (along with my first outfit photo) to the “Style Check” section of the app. Style Check tells me which accessory or outfit option looks the best within minutes. I am obsessed with this feature because usually I’ll text my sister – as I’m running out the door and need an answer ASAP – saying something like, “Should I wear the black bag or the brown bag?” accompanied with a dark/blurry set of phone photos. She gets kind of annoyed with me because she’s either at work or sleeping (she’s on east coast time!) So Style Check saves me big time! I also love that I can create a Lookbook with pictures of my daily outfits to reference later. The Echo Look has honestly made getting ready so much faster, easier, and more fun!!! I’m curious about the photos from the Echo Look – are any of the photos in your post from the device? Can you use them for things like blog posts, or do they only get sent to the app? I was looking at it a few months ago, and wondering about it. It’s nice to read about your experience.

These photos were taken by my photographer :) However the Echo Look delivers amazing high res photos that you can use and upload to blog posts, instagram, etc. They get saved to your camera roll and their app! I hope that helps answer your question.
