Happy Monday!!!! I had the best weekend and was able to rest + recharge! It still feels very much like summer here in LA (and will for several more months) so I spent most of the weekend at the beach and hanging around Venice. I also checked out the new Palisades Village shopping area that was just built in Pacific Palisades and let me tell you – it is stunning! If you’re visiting or live in LA, you must check it out. They have the CHICEST stores like Zimmermann, Rachel Zoe, Anine Bing, St. Frank, ALC, and Elyse Walker – and the best restaurants like Blue Ribbon Sushi (OMG SO HAPPY THIS OPENED! It’s my fave in NYC), Sweet Laurel Bakery (yummiest gluten + dairy free baked goods) and more. Speaking of shopping and stores…
I am hosting my first ever CLOSET SALE this Saturday in Venice! I am so excited to get a chance to meet some of you and share my wardrobe and home decor items with you. Pssst I am selling this pink rug so many of you LOVE! The first 50 girls to show up will receive a customized With Love From Kat tote bag full of beauty goodies. The sale will be from 11AM-1PM on September 29. To receive the exact address of the sale + more details RSVP here! A proceed of the sale will go to a charity I am really excited to be involved with; Dress For Success.
Here is a look inside my actual closet! I turned my second bedroom into a walk in closet/office. The bedroom already had a generous walk in closet with built ins when I moved in, but I added personalized touches like this gold chandelier you may remember from my NYC apartment and a cozy linen ottoman. I used IKEA bookcases to line one of the walls for shoe + bag storage and got this great silver Moroccan themed bench to go in the center of the room. I’m still finishing up the space, but really love how girly and glam it feels! The clothing racks are also from IKEA – and were $10! Never underestimate IKEA! I added this wood ladder to break up the bookcases and love how it elevates them.
I hope to see you at my closet sale this Saturday – it will be such a fun day of shopping!!!! Don’t forget to RSVP here! XO
Really been enjoying this home tour series! I love how you organized your jewelry – I need to adopt your system!
