Happy Friday! I spent the other weekend exploring Old Town Calabasas and finally got a chance to pop into my all time favorite home decor store; Amber Interiors. Calabasas is such a darling town and on Saturdays they have a huge farmers market in the parking lot next to Amber Interiors. There are several boutiques along the Main Street – and I particularly love the one next door called French where I picked up this pom pom bag. Decorating is my passion and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying picking out eclectic pieces of art, books, pillows, and knick knacks to turn my house into a home.
It’s a slow and steady process, but I always feel like a home turns out best when you don’t rush it and search for meaningful items to place all over. Don’t hesitate to check out local markets and antique shops when you travel – and don’t be afraid to get creative! Not everything has to match and be cookie cutter. Frame vintage scarves, use old suitcases as side tables and trunks as coffee tables… I’m constantly pinning my favorite rooms and decor shots on Pinterest so feel free to check out my page (I have 18,000 pins…yep, I’m addicted) for you to peruse as inspo ;) Be prepared to get consumed for hours! It’s the perfect Friday night-in activity if you ask me.

They’re from the shop called “French” in Calabasas – they don’t have an online store so I suggest googling them and calling :)
