PRIVACY POLICY

Katelyn Tanita LLC d/b/a With Love From Kat (hereinafter “WLFK, We, Our, Us”) is a Connecticut Corporation.  We own and operate the With Love From Kat “App” an application for mobile devices, including, without limitation, Apple iOS and Android on our own behalf (hereinafter “The App”).

In this Privacy Policy, you means any person who downloads, accesses and uses the App (hereinafter, “You”).  We respect the privacy rights of our users and recognize the importance of protecting the information collected from them. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information We collect from You when you download, sign up or use The App, and what we do with the information we collect. By accessing or using The App, you are accepting and consenting to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

INFORMATION COLLECTION & USE

When you sign up for The App or subscribe to our mailing list We collect information from you. The purpose of collecting the data is to gather details so that We can provide you with up-to-date and suitable information about The App, services and products where applicable. We also use this information to respond to any inquiries you raise with us or to provide you with a link if you need to reset your password. WLFK is the sole owner of the information collected and we do not sell your information to third parties.
We may share your information with third parties who assist in aggregating data relating to the use of The App in order to analyze trends and improve Our marketing efforts.  When we do so we do not share personally identifiable information, such as names, photos, phone numbers, addresses or email addresses.

We do not knowingly contact or collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly obtain parental consent or remove the information. If authorized by you, we also access your profile and other information from services such as Facebook.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS

You must only submit to Us information, whether through The App or via email, which is accurate and not misleading and You must keep it up-to-date and inform us of changes. You may do that through the settings function in The App or by sending an email to info@withlovefromkat.com. By submitting data you must ensure that you have full authority and consent to supply us with that data and you warrant to Us that you have that authority. You can sign into your account to see any personal identifiable information which we have stored. You can also contact us by email and request to see this information.

JOINT PROMOTIONS

From time to time, We may engage with third party business partners to collect personal information on WLFK’s behalf in the form of joint promotion ventures. In such cases, these third parties will be subject to confidentiality agreements and instructed by WLFK to comply fully with our Privacy Policy.

CHOICE AND OPTING OUT

We operate an opt-in policy in terms of communicating via email, post, and telephone. By downloading The App, You are opting to receive communications by email. However, every time We contact you after this, you will have an opportunity to unsubscribe from our mailing list. We will not sell your personal details to any database companies. Should you choose to have your name and personal data removed from our database, you can do so by sending an email to info@withlovefromkat.

LOG FILES

As is true of most applications, We gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer The App, to track users’ movements when using The App and to gather demographic information about Our user base as a whole. We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information. We may use a third-party tracking service, JavaScript, pixels, or transparent GIF files. Any information We track in this manner is anonymous, limited to usage and volume statistics, and is used to provide insight into the effectiveness of our online marketing initiatives and strategies.

AGGREGATE INFORMATION (NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE)

We share aggregated demographic information about our user base with Our agents, including agencies or third-party vendors used to aggregate demographic information, provide marketing analysis and consult on advertising strategies. This information does not identify individual users. We do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER

Other than as set out in this Privacy Policy, we shall not sell or disclose your personal data to third parties without obtaining your prior consent unless this is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or unless we are required to do so by law.  We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when We believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on Us.  We may also transfer our databases containing your personal information if we sell, or discuss the sale of, our business or part of it to an actual or potential purchaser.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

Our site may contain links to other Web sites. Please note that this Privacy Policy applies to The App only. It does not apply to other applications and/or websites maintained by other companies or organizations to which We link or engage in joint promotions. We are not responsible for any personal information you submit to third parties via our site nor are We responsible for the privacy practices of other companies or organizations. We encourage you to be aware when you leave Our site and to read the privacy policies of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.

CHANGES IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Any amended Privacy Policy will be posted in The App and it will apply immediately for new users and 30 days (or such other timeframe as we may say when posted) for all existing users. Each time you install or access the App, you agree that the Privacy Policy current at that time shall apply to all information which we hold about you.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR DATA

We store your personal details on a secure server. We use industry standard security and firewalls on our servers.  We use encryption software, and while we are unable to guarantee 100% security, this makes it hard for a hacker to decrypt your details. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of your information. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you. You are responsible for protecting against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer.

DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA

You may request at any time to have any and all data we have stored from you deleted, by sending an email to jesse@withlovefromkat.com.
