At Home Date Night Ideas

Most of us will be spending Valentine’s Day at home this year. Honestly, I usually prefer to stay home for Valentine’s Day anyway! I’m not sure what Thomas has planned for us this year, but I wanted to share a few fun stay-at-home, date night or girls night ideas for you to do! (And in case you’re interested, here’s last years pre-Covid date night idea list!)

At Home Date Night Ideas

Homemade Pizza

Pick up Trader Joe’s pizza dough and make homemade pizzas with tons of fun toppings. Blast classic Italian music while you’re cooking, enjoy wine, and make a big Caesar salad to go with your pizza!

Board Games

This deluxe Scrabble set has been one of the best gifts we’ve received. We use it all the time. I’m considering getting this fancy Monopoly set since we love playing.

Strobe Light Club Vibe

In the beginning of the pandemic when we were losing our minds cooped up in our apartment, Thomas bought a strobe light off Amazon. We plugged it in and our entire apartment turned into a club. We blasted music (don’t worry all of our neighbors had relocated…no seriously we were the only people left in our building at one point!), and it was quite entertaining to say the least.

Cocktail Tasting

Pick a few new cocktail recipes that sound good and test them out. You could do a whole “flight” of cocktails in mini shot glasses. Kind of like a wine tasting…but more fun ;)

Homemade sushi

I made sushi over the summer and it turned out delicious. It was relatively easy and fun to make my own custom rolls. Order this little sushi DIY kit and pick up as many unique ingredients as you want!

Spa Day

Pamper yourself or your significant other with a massage. I love this Necessaire unscented lotion – it’s so luxurious. Turn on a diffuser with essential oil (lavender and eucalyptus are the best!) and you’ll feel like you’re at a spa. Just be careful around your pets – essential oils aren’t great for dogs so close the door and/or air out the room after!

Honestly, I always thought I was the only one falling out with friends. I have never seen it much with my other friends. I would like to add one thing, I believe that God takes people out of your life because they cannot continue with you on your journey. Nothing against them per se, no fault, they just cannot continue by your side. And only God knows your entire life’s journey and what and who you need with you on it. Thank you for sharing the information on this subject.
