A few months ago, I had the opportunity to go backstage with Express for their holiday runway show. I was able to get my hair and makeup done by world renowned artists (one of them recommended this foundation which I’m now obsessed with), interview models like Grace Bol and Kasia Struss, and walk down the runway in the heart of Times Square! It was a crazy, once in a lifetime experience and I will never forget it. I wore this dress from the holiday collection with a simple pair of gold ankle strap heels (similar) and a fun tassel necklace from Sweet & Spark. I love Express because they carry so many affordable, quality pieces. This mini skirt is one of my favorites (as seen here and here) as well as this blazer (as seen here) and this dress (as seen here.) It’s fun to mix high and low pieces together – and then splurge on a great pair of shoes or bag…still coveting this one!

This was really fun to watch, especially the interview with the President of Express..fun to hear his vision for the brand. If you get a second opportunity to do something like this, see if you can interview one of the (hot) male models. :)

What an exceptional opportunity! Love the new Express clothing and accessories – they've definitely strengthened the brand with better design these days. I remember when I was a teenager and the brand was a little less… let's just say their clothes weren't as sophisticated-looking, and more for only club looks.
I so agree – they have totally changed their image and have added so many diverse designs to their collections. :)
