Tommy and I live in a one bedroom apartment in the city. I love the bedroom – it has hardwood floors, exposed brick, and big windows – but there’s one (major!) problem; the closet. The closet is ridiculously tiny (as most NYC closets are) and fits about a quarter of my wardrobe. I did the only logical thing a fashionista in this city could do and turned our bedroom into a dressing room with a settee, Louis ghost chairs, garden stool, full length mirror and rolling racks lining the entire right side of the wall. It’s a much more functional space now – perfect for getting ready for fabulous events (like Fashion’s Night Out tomorrow!) and for visiting with friends. The room isn’t complete yet, but here’s what I’ve added so far.
1. Shabby Chic “Lila” settee 2. Ryan Studio “Raja Sky” pillow 3. Ebay “Louis Ghost” chair 4. Tocca “Cleopatra” candle 5. Two’s Company “Coral Tree” jewelry holder 6. Ikea “Stave” mirror 7. One Kings Lane “Celadon” garden stool
Ooh I love the clear chair! So chic! Enjoy Fashion Week. I miss it!
