Nailhead Headboard

My next big purchase is going to be a nailhead headboard.  I just have to have one!  I would really like the one in the first picture from Williams Sonoma Home, but it’s $1200.  I think that’s a little ridiculous considering it’s just a piece of wood with cotton batting and fabric over it!  I’ve seen a ton of amazing DIY headboards online, but unfortunately I live in NYC and don’t have the space or tools to make one myself!  I’m thinking this Pottery Barn upholstered headboard may be a good option, what do you think?

Ooh I wanted one of these for a while now! They complete a bedroom. I think Williams Sonoma is worth it. I have some kitchen stuff from there and they never disappointed me. I think that the main question is: would you use it/have it for a long time? I especially love that first picture :)

    Good Luck!

I absolutely love nailhead detailing on just about anything, and on a headboard I think it is perfection. My best friend has one from Pottery Barn and it literally makes her whole room. You have to have one.

Yes this is something I really want too, I may attempt a DIY, we'll see. I think the Pottery Barn is as gorgeous as the WS ;)

I just ordered one for my new apartment in Austin from Ballard Designs' website. It looks just like the expensive ones, gives you options for the upholstery and comes at a reasonable price! I'll post a picture as soon as it's delivered.

I got mine at a consignment store for a song and it's currently getting reupholstered locally. Much cheaper than the in-store alternatives!!

I also heard that West Elm headboards were REALLY affordable and you can get them in ANY fabric :)

I love the last option (plus the interior is so pretty)…another really good place for headboards I discovered is Target, they have similar nailhead headboards that I have been considering. You have a gorgeous blog by the way:)

Not sure if you have found a headboard yet, but I was browsing some today and fell in love with this one! The price is right :)
