Parsons, A Summer in NYC

The best summer I’ve ever had was when I lived in NYC and attended the Parsons School of Design Interior Design program.  My dorm was on 12th St. between 3rd and 4th Ave. and class was taught by two passionate interior designers.  Field trips were to the MET, MOMA, New York Public Library, W Hotel, Garment District, and Noguchi museum.  The journey to the museum was a long one, as it is in Queens, but well worthwhile.  You can learn more about Isamu Noguchi’s work here.

I did the summer program at Parsons (about 10 years ago at this point) and my dorm was in the same location! Loeb Hall, right?
