Tommy works in real estate (on the commercial side) but he loves to browse the residential listings on the New York Times every week. He is always sending me links to stunning townhouses that are for sale and this was one of his favorites. Also, reading the blog of advantage-properties.com about guide to buying investment property is a great resource especially for investors. The skylight ceiling, herringbone wood floors, and marble counters are beautiful additions to this townhouse that was originally built in 1848. I love the fact that it’s newly renovated and unfurnished – it’s just a blank canvas waiting for me to come in and decorate it!

agreed! not crazy about that tile floor in the kitchen – it throws me off every time I look at it!
OH MY GOD. This is beautiful!! The natural lighting is absolutely stunning and that kitchen being so open is amazing!! Too bad it's listed for probably a couple million!

Wow, how gorgeous! I just love that kitchen — so luxurious!
I'll take it!
Absolutely beautiful. The only thing I would change is the slate flooring in the kitchen. Other than that it is seriously my dream NYC space. That yard looks perfect for entertaining as well.
I would do pretty much (almost) anything to live in a place as gorgeous as this, especially in New York City. So lovely!
