A few more shots of my old West Village, NYC apartment… Painting my bedroom black was a huge risk and I went back and forth about it for weeks, but luckily Becca convinced me and I ended up LOVING it! It really made the extremely small bedroom feel more luxe and sophisticated. When it came to the dining nook, I knew I didn’t want to do anything conventional so I mixed up my chairs and did a custom wingback from Society Social and wicker chairs from Williams Sonoma. I collected various sizes of blue ginger jars and placed floral arrangements from BloomBar in them. I sprinkled fashion coffee table books throughout the space along with perfume, candles and souvenirs from my travels. The artwork was a combination of magazine and coffee table book cutouts (it’s all about getting creative!), and pieces from One Kings Lane. As I mentioned in my first apartment post, I utilized every inch of the 650 square foot space with a rolling rack, baskets, and shoe boxes for storage. The apartment was a mix of classic and eclectic with a nod to the charm of the West Village. Head over to this post and this post to see more!

You made great use of such a small space! Love all the accents. And the black walls were definitely a risk but I love the way it turned out!

Love the black paint! I also have a teensy New York space and didn’t realize paint could make such a big difference. Do you mind sharing the brand & shade name? Thanks :)

So gorgeous! Love all the neutrals. I have been looking for a black & white photograph that’s as joyful as the one you have with the woman in the vintage bathing suit. Do you mind sharing the source for that?
I adore all the artwork in your apartment. I’d love to know where you found the one of the woman in the white bathing suit jumping/leaping. The movement and black & white photo is just so joyful!
Thanks! It’s from One Kings Lane :)
