I’ve been spending more and more time in West Hollywood lately. There are SO many amazing bars, restaurants, salons and shops in the area and it’s the perfect place to spend a casual Friday. I got my haircut on Melrose the other day and then wandered to Gracias Madre for yummy, vegan Mexican food with my girlfriend who works down the street. On the same street as Gracias Madre – there’s the coolest coffee shop; Verve (you may have seen my insta there last week) and rooftop; Catch where all the celebs hang out. James Perse is across the street (I live in their uber soft T’s and sweaters!)…speaking of soft sweaters – this Topshop grey sweatshirt is legit the comfiest thing I own. I layered it under my classic white Sandro coat, and dressed it up with black leather pumps and my Simon Miller bucket bag. To tie everything together I threw on an LA baseball cap. I love mixing and matching different neutral pieces in my closet – it’s amazing how the right accessories can completely change a look. Nordstrom always has the best selection of accessories. I’m constantly perusing their bag, shoe, and hat sections for new items to spruce up my wardrobe. This season – I am loving baseball caps with everything, you can never go wrong with a simple leather pump, and of course the bucket bag trend which isn’t even really a trend because it’s always in style! Simon Miller came out with this slightly larger black suede bag available exclusively at Nordstrom which would be perfect to travel with. In terms of baseball caps…this Dodgers hat comes in a ton of different colors and I am loving this simple all black NY hat (especially post gym sesh) and this grey wool cap. I couldn’t resist ordering the LA cap in bright royal blue! Shop more of favorite fall/winter accessories from Nordstrom below (including this silk bordeaux printed bandana, this Gucci cross body (a great Christmas wish list item) and this gold layered choker necklace (which is under $42!)) Enjoy your weekend :)
