One of my favorite things about my new hometown is the boardwalk. It’s full of eclectic, funky people and shops – which always make for some interesting/amusing run ins! I try and ride my bike at least 3 times a week and head towards the Santa Monica Pier from Venice. It’s a great opportunity for me to get outside/soak up the sun, exercise and clear my head. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend renting a bike (there are rental spots all along the way for only $10!) and cruising down to Shutters on the Beach for a cocktail at sunset. If you’re in the area in the morning, be sure to grab a sandwich at Egg Slut and coffee at the infamous Menotti’s. I live in boyfriend jeans and these white ones from Madewell have been on major repeat. I love the soft denim and lived in wash of this chambray from Rails – which by the way came out with a super cool embroidered version here. Their latest collection has been on point and I’m thinking about getting this darker chambray, this cozy white button down and this plaid shirt for the fall.
