Comfort Food

It’s snowing here in NYC, yes snowing!  Apparently it’s the first time in 140 years it has snowed here in October.  I am kind of bummed because I bought tickets to a Halloween pub crawl tonight and got a cute Indian costume (feather headpiece and all), but now I’m thinking I just want to stay warm and stay home.  I might as well make the best of tonight and make some good comfort food, right?  I’m debating between this gourmet version of pigs in a blanket with asparagus and ham, grilled cheese with bacon+tomato soup, or a big bowl of steaming hot pasta with butter and cheese.  Decisions, decisions.
