Laura Mercier’s new Kajal d’Orient Eye Liner allows me to create a smokey eye in under 5 minutes. It has the same creamy texture as her to-die-for Caviar Stick Eye Colours (you can read about my obsession with them here) and blends seamlessly. It’s so easy to apply – I just glide it over my top and bottom lashes and smudge it with this brush for that sexy, dramatic look. I’ve been throwing it in my bag for touch ups at night. Laura’s Candleglow Luminizing Palette has all of the gorgeous, natural, shimmery colors I love in one place. Whether I’m going out for the day or night, I like to combine the “Radiance” and “Glimmer” highlighting powders with this brush and lightly dust them over the highest part of my cheekbone. I then dab my pinky finger in a little bit of the “Light” powder and rub it underneath my brow. By highlighting the brow bone you instantly make your eyes look brighter. I love using the “Glow” powder – it’s a must if you’re doing a smoky eye and instantly diverts attention away from dark circles. Use your index finger or any eye shadow brush to dust it around the inner part of your eye/nose bridge area. I always notice a huge difference in pictures when I use it! The “Twinkle” and “Spark” shades are gorgeous for any daytime look and act as great base shadows for a smoky eye. I can’t leave the house without some kind of gloss – Lip Glace in shade “Bare Baby” is my go-to during the day, and I love the shimmer in “Rose Gold Accent” for a nighttime look.
