TGIF! This is one of my favorite “date night” outfits. I bought this M Missoni dress (also available here) a few weeks ago during the Shopbop sale and envisioned myself wearing it on a hot summer day in Italy – but couldn’t wait to wear it until then! I paired it with this buttery leather Iro jacket and heels for dinner on Abbot Kinney the other night.
I’ve been a Missoni aficionado for years and years…I would literally spend every other weekend in high school and college trolling vintage and consignment stores for Missoni pieces. I remember picking up dresses that were 3 sizes too big and having them altered/tailored to fit me because I loved the pattern so much! My little Missoni collection has steadily grown over the years and I jump at the chance to find any of their stuff on sale.
Farfetch always has a great assortment of discounted Missoni pieces…do you die for this kaftan?! I NEED! This stunning maxi dress just got marked down at Shopbop and this dress from Saks is the long version of the dress I’m wearing here and on sale! I can see why you love this dress. The chevron pattern is so unique and the fact that each two rows are different colours adds to the complexity and uniqueness of it. It seems like the perfect evening dress, and as you said, perfect for a date. It’s the perfect in between for a causal and dressy look. The ruffled sleeves and cut outs around them also add another element to the dress. This is really a one of a kind piece and I’m sure it would be hard to find anything quite like it!
