Classic Camel + Grey

Santa Monica, CA

The colorful leaves and crisp, cool air in LA has been giving me all the feels!  I can finally bring out classic camel coats like this one and chunky wool scarves.  It’s been fun infusing my east coast wardrobe with my west coast one – and playing with different textures, colors, cuts, and vibes.  My style is typically pretty casual during the day, but I’ve been stepping it up and throwing heels on to meet girlfriends for brunch or for meetings in town.  It’s amazing how a high heel can transform an outfit and really give you that extra pep in your step or confidence boost!  Schutz makes some of the highest heels around and I’m currently eyeing about 15 pairs via Shopbop!  I seem to always add a new camel coat to my collection during the fall, and somehow justify it because each one is slightly different.  I have a long/more dramatic one, a light camel colored one, a suede trench, a tailored rainproof trench, and now this beautiful Theory cashmere coat.  It’s incredibly lightweight, but still warm – making it ideal to travel with, ideal to throw on when you’re running out the door and need to look put together, and it can be worn just as easily to breakfast as it can to after work drinks.  It’s extremely form fitting/flattering and one of those staple coats that you’ll catch me wearing 10 years from now – guarantee!
