I took full advantage of my new house in LA this year and threw tons of parties and dinners! Â It was so fun to bring friends together and use my indoor/outdoor space. Â I always end up doing something different for New Years Eve â sometimes Iâll stay in, sometimes Iâll go out, but this year I knew I wanted to throw a little New Years Eve fete at my house! Â I enlisted the help of 3 close girlfriends to come over and help me set up. Â For decor â we picked up silver and gold balloons, streamers, sparklers, and big 2018 balloons. Â I pushed my dining table into the entry along with my lucite bar so all of the food would be in one central location. Â For food â I filled buckets of ice with my favorite beer; Stella Artois, and laid out tons of party snacks like mini popcorn cups, homemade marshmallows, pretzels and chocolates for guests to nibble on. Â I put a huge magnolia leaf garland around the table for a little holiday flare and tried to stick with a silver + gold theme as best as I could so everything looked cohesive. Â I didnât overthink the food â I know guests appreciate when everything is bite size and easy to grab and for the alcohol â everyone loves Stella Artois so it was a no brainer! Â Iâm so glad I volunteered to host a New Years Eve party at my place because my favorite NYE memories have always been at a house party surrounded by my nearest and dearest.
