I have to give a little shout out to my boyfriend Tommy. Yesterday, he helped me bring home this full length mirror. As you can see this was not an easy task. Since there isn’t an Ikea in the city, we took the subway and then a water taxi to the one in Brooklyn. The water taxi was really fun on the way there – on the way back (mirror in tow) not so much. After the mirror went on the water taxi, down Wall Street, in the subway, out of the subway, down 58th Street, and across 3rd Avenue, it finally made its way into our apartment. So, was it worth it? Absolutely! After researching full length mirrors for weeks and not being able to find the right one, I came across this one. The size, color, and price ($50 – talk about a steal!) were perfect. It would have been nice if Ikea allowed me to order this mirror online, but then again I wouldn’t have had this ridiculous story to tell now would I? Thanks for putting up with my crazy ways Tommy, I love you!

An adventure – well documented. That Tommy is so cute – hip hip hooray – Tommy!!! :-)
Cheers!
