Wandering San Cristobal de las Casas

San Cristobal de la Casas, Mexico

Happy Monday!  I’m excited to share photos from Day 3 of my trip to Mexico with The New York Times.  We started our morning at the cutest coffee shop; Carajillo Cafe, which reminded me of a cafe you would easily find in the West Village or Nolita.  The turquoise blue tile floors, high ceilings with exposed beams, and colorful artwork lining the walls made me feel right at home.  Each table had fresh bunches of flowers and their breakfast was absolutely delish.  I tried mole + eggs for the first time and ordered a matcha latte.  The rest of our crew got espressos which I had a sip of too – so good!  Overall, San Cristobal de las Casas exceeded my expectations.  The town was the perfect mix of old and new – with colorful homes and storefronts lining cobblestone streets.  I loved how you could always find a juice shop and fresh produce spilling out of old Fords on the side of the road.  I layered this easy white button down over my new favorite dress for spring from Saylor.  A few of you were asking where the blue + white dress I wore on my instastory was from and it’s also from Saylor.  FYI it runs true to size and you can buy it here!
