Happy Friday! This week flew by and I can’t believe the weekend is already here. It was absolutely gorgeous earlier in the week and I spent a ton of time in the charming Elizabeth Street Garden. If you’ve never been to Elizabeth Street Garden, I highly recommend heading over to Nolita to check it out. It’s one of my favorite parks in the city. It’s small, quiet, and right now it’s in full bloom. I recently learned that the garden is on the brink of being demolished and turned into more apartments!
It’s one of the LAST parks in Little Italy,/Soho and has over 100,000 visitors enjoy it per year – so getting rid of it would be a huge loss and disservice to the community. I encourage you to please DONATE to the legal fund, SHARE this link, and SPREAD the word on social media about saving this precious space that could be destroyed very soon.
Ethereal White Dress
I wore this stunning white maxi dress from Gal Meets Glam to the park on a sunny afternoon. It’s the kind of dress you can wear during the day or at night. I added gold hoops and a belt for something different. It fits like a glove and is such good quality. Julia has done a beautiful job designing the collection and I was so honored to be a part of the Gal Meets Glam spring campaign last month! Some of my favorite pieces from the collection are this eyelet dress, this navy jumpsuit, this jumpsuit with a pearl neckline, and this pink maxi dress which I can’t wait to wear this summer. I find that Gal Meets Glam pieces run true to size. Typically, I wear a size 2 or 4 in the dresses.
I paired my white maxi dress with sandals I had handmade in Capri last summer at the best sandal shop on the island; Ragozzino. The owner has been making sandals for decades and has a huge selection of colors and variations to choose from. If you’re visiting Capri – it’s a must! FYI it’s on my Travel App along with all of my other favorite spots. Enjoy your weekend!
