Spring Office Style

Nolita, NY

I had the best weekend and am feeling so rested and recharged for the week! I love doing a mix of social and introspective activities on the weekends. I’m not someone who enjoys going out 2 nights in a row – I like to have one night to myself where I can take a bath, put a face mask on, order takeout and watch Netflix. Lately I’ve been binging a show called Lucifer. If you haven’t watched it already – I highly recommend it!

Spring Office Style

I have a ton of meetings lined up this week and then dinners planned right after, so I need outfits like this that can take me from day to night. Oftentimes, I don’t have time or the desire to go home and change if I have a meeting far from my apartment, so I like to throw on a midi dress and light coat with heels to take me throughout the days activities. I love that this dress has just a hint of sexiness…but is also totally office appropriate. You could unbutton the top button, and tie the belt tighter for after work drinks, and even throw a leather jacket over your shoulders instead of this white coat to make it more nighttime friendly.

I’ve been loving olive green for spring mixed with white, and this olive green dress is from the Chriselle Lim collection at Nordstrom. It’s lightweight and under $100. I love this white version of the dress from J.Crew. The buttons down the front add a classic twist to the dress, and you could easily put a T-shirt or blouse underneath it. This white coat is beautiful and super affordable – it pairs so well with the green dress.

I picked up this white lucite Staud bag at an event and love that it can hold so much, is waterproof (great for the April showers we’ve been having!), and the insert comes out so it can be used as a chic clutch. I also have the bag in brown – which you may remember me styling here. It’s definitely one of my more trendy bags, but I think it’s fun right? What are your thoughts on the lucite trend?
