Farmers Market Run

Venice, CA

Every week, I look forward to going to the Venice Farmer’s Market.  It’s become a tradition of mine to wake up on Friday mornings and fill my straw tote with fresh flowers and produce.  There is something truly special about meeting with the farmers, chatting with them, connecting with them, and then bringing home the produce to cook with.  It really is that farm to table experience.  I notice SUCH a difference in the produce in terms of color, taste, and smell when I buy it at the Farmer’s Market versus the grocery store.  The produce lasts twice as long and is so much more flavorful and fresh.  Last Friday, I got up super early to head to the Market and wore this cute stripe jumpsuit that I ordered from Bloomingdales 100% Exclusive line; Aqua.  I paired it with my new round straw tote and a summery hat.  I’m all about easy, breezy cotton jumpsuits and midi dresses for spring and summer – and Bloomingdales (and their 100% Exclusives section) literally has the best assortment.  I’m excited to wear this simple navy cotton jumpsuit next week when I get back from Japan, and this pretty stripe maxi dress too!  Oh, and can we talk about this blazer with gold buttons that comes in light pink and cream?!  NEED!  Andddd it comes with matching trousers – how fab right?!  Shop more of my favorite spring pieces below!
