Stepping into Spring

Venice, CA

Happy Monday!  I’ve never been much of a sneaker person, but since moving to LA, comfort has become my priority and I now live in my Nikes or simple tennis shoes like these.   I can’t tell you how comfortable these Keds are – it’s like walking on a cloud – seriously!  I wore Keds growing up with my school uniform and am happy to be revisiting these classic shoes again.  This light pink pair also comes in white – which I couldn’t resist ordering as well.  A few of you were asking about the other pair of white sneakers I bought on Abbot Kinney for my trip to Tokyo and they are from a french brand called Spring Court.  I couldn’t find them online except through their site which I was shocked about since they really are the perfect white sneaker!  These ones from Cole Haan are super similar though and I can attest that they are great quality and very comfy – my sister has them ;)  One trend I’m excited to test out – is pairing sneakers with dresses and skirts.  Maybe it’s not a “trend” but it’s a look I haven’t tried out and I’ve been seeing a ton of stylish women in Tokyo rock it.  That’s the thing I love the most about traveling – observing how other people dress, eat, and live – and incorporating some of those things into my own lifestyle!  PS I’m in Tokyo for the rest of the week so be sure to keep up with my trip here!
