Peonies for Spring
I’ve been dying to get my hands on peonies to brighten up our apartment and finally found some across from one of my favorite restaurants in Soho; Little Prince. They had multiple colors, so I bought a few in every color to place around our home! I haven’t splurged on flowers in a while and let me tell you, it was 100% worth it. They really do elevate and change the entire vibe in a space.
Relaxed Everyday Jeans
The weather has been heating up in NYC (finally!!!) so I wore these comfy, high waisted straight leg jeans from Jordache Vintage (available exclusively at Walmart Fashion) the day we got our flowers. It’s funny because Jordache jeans were actually the first pair of “adult” jeans I ever bought. They make your butt look amazing – yep they really do! T even said “Woah! I like those on you!” when I walked out in them haha. I love the denim wash on these (not too light, not too dark), and the slight stretch/relaxed fit. I hate when jeans stretch out too much. And these allow you to actually move around in them without completely changing shape.
I cuffed mine at the bottom for an even more relaxed look. I can attest that they look really cute dressed up with heels – I tried them on with a cute pair of block heels. The subtle detail on the side and pockets flatters any body type. They are a great, go-to, everyday blue jean (and major plus, they’re under $27.) FYI they run TTS, but if you want a tighter fit size down (I’m wearing a size 27 here.)
Simple Black Tank
I paired these jeans with a simple black top also from Jordache’s new vintage collection at Walmart Fashion. It’s ideal to throw on for casual errands around the city or even just to wear around the house. It runs true to size, but if you’re in between sizes I would size down since it is a longer cut. TBH it’s even a great workout top!
