Talun and I decided to venture to Nolita last week and stumbled upon the cutest bakery to shoot outside of. Halfway through our shoot, a man came up to us and introduced himself as the owner of the shop. He invited us inside and instantly made us feel right at home – treating us to coffee and a cupcake.
He told us all about the history of the Little Cupcake Bakeshop and how he had just won Best Chocolate Cake in the U.S. by Food & Wine magazine!
As we were about to leave, he gave each of us a dozen cupcakes to take home and told us to come back anytime. Moments like that are just one of the reasons why I love this city!
There are so many wonderful bakeries and restaurants in Nolita and I can’t wait to continue expanding my Travel App to include all of them. This light spring trench was perfect for the warm temps we had last week – and this LWD fits like a glove. I told my girlfriend who is getting married she should wear it to her bridal shower. The lace sandals are super comfortable and from one of my favorite Italian shoe brands M.Gemi. PS they also come in black!
