I was looking through old photos and realized I never posted this set from my birthday trip to Paris last winter. My first thought was, WOW what I would give to wander the streets of Paris right now, and then I thought, gosh, when will we ever be able to travel internationally again?! I can tell you one thing, I will never take any of it for granted again!
Winter Layers in Paris
Grey Winter Coat
I’ve had this beautiful Soia+Kyo coat (another option) for several years now, and it’s one I never plan on giving away. It’s classic and timeless, and the best part is the collar is removable so you can wear it in the fall and winter. I love pairing it with an all black outfit, but it also looks stunning with a grey + camel look, or even head to toe creamy white look. You can see it styled other ways here and here.
Over the knee boots
These Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots have been a staple in my wardrobe for almost a decade! They’re my favorite OTK boot style, and have held up after all of these years. They’re incredibly warm, sleek and comfortable, which makes them an ideal shoe to walk around a city in for hours and hours. I love them so much I own them in 2 other colors.
Chanel Flap Bag
I often get asked what my absolute favorite bag is or what I suggest as the one designer bag you should have in your closet…and it’s hands down my classic Chanel Flap bag. This is the medium size in black, with caviar leather. I saved up my nannying $ in college and bought it for myself for my 21st birthday. It was a huge splurge at the time, but it’s held up beautifully (it still looks brand new 11 years later), and also appreciated in value (I think it’s almost doubled in price!) There are a ton of great secondhand stores you can look at if you don’t want to buy it new. I’ve bought designer bags from Rebag in the past, and been really happy with them!
