Sutton Place

Tommy and I have spent the past few weekends exploring different parts of our neighborhood.  We’ve lived in our apartment for over a year now – and are somehow still discovering new shops, restaurants and parks right around the corner.  One of my favorite neighborhood spots is Sutton Place Park.  It’s a quiet area filled with beautiful townhomes and incredible views of the bridge and river.  I also love the Carl Schurz Park, Ze Cafe for lunch, and East End Kitchen for dinner.  I’m thinking of doing a post about some of my favorite NYC spots so stay tuned!

The best thing is to discover untapped gems in your own neighbourhood! You have the best casual chic style and you look so effortlessly dressed I wonder how long does it take for you to dress in the morning? :)

I love how you have been using this bag as a more everyday bag vs just to head to a market/grocery shop. Love the idea! It is so summery and fresh.

You should read this book I just finished on NY real estate — it's called The Sky's the Limit. It talks about all these neighborhoods in NY, the history behind them, how they got established, and there's an entire chapter (or two) on Sutton Place! I think you would love it and it'd make you appreciate the neighborhood walks even more. It was a fascinating read! xo, vmac

I haven't really heard of Sutton Place-I need to check it out if there's good eats, since I live on just the other side of the river (and up a bit). I'm also digging this look on you, it's very gypsy-boho!

LOVE that missoni dress. I'm a big fan of turning dresses into skirts with just the addition of an Equipment blouse too – a great way to create a whole new look!
