Many of you know, I almost moved to Paris 4 years ago. I like so many people, immediately fell in love with the magic of Paris, and was convinced I should start a new chapter there. While it didn’t work out for a whole myriad of reasons (let’s not even get into how much tax they take out from your income!), I am SO happy I get to visit regularly and soak up all of the goodness the city has to offer. I visited several amazing new restaurants last time in Paris, and I wanted to share them with you! I’ll update this list, as well as the spots on my Travel App regularly after each visit for you!
Where To Eat in Paris
This is a relatively new-t0-me restaurant that I hadn’t read about, or seen on any “it” lists. I simply stumbled upon it walking down the street one day. It smelled so incredible, and there were so many chic people in the window that I knew I had to come back and try it! I’m so glad I did because it ended up being one of my favorite meals. It’s a Japanese French fusion restaurant where stylish locals go. You must get the chicken dumplings – they won’t disappoint!
Ralph Lauren’s favorite restaurant in Paris and one that inspired many of his collections…need I say more? You must dress to impress at this absolutely fabulous spot on Avenue Montaigne with a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower! Order the frites and a cocktail and sit out on the patio for hours!
This dreamy, dark, romantic hotel is an absolute must if you’re in Paris. The crowd is divine – everyone is dressed to the nines, and the pasta is out of this world. Hole up in a corner in one of the plush velvet chairs and sip on a yummy martini!
This is another one of my favorite hole in the wall, not an “it” or sceney restaurant to go to in Paris. Go early and grab a seat at the bar. They have a small, seasonal menu full of delectable, homemade dishes. Order a few and share with a girlfriend over candlelight.
Everyone talks about Frenchie for good reason. We only had time to go to French To Go – the funky takeout, casual restaurant next door, but I can’t wait to go back and enjoy Frenchie one evening. It’s gourmet comfort food and totally worth the hype!
Head to the Peninsula hotel for one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower and the perfect spot for a ladies lunch. This is the largest terrace restaurant in Paris and it has an extensive menu of things to choose from.
This iconic cafe located in the heart of Saint Germain is a must for lunch or a low key dinner. Sit outside with a glass of wine, a good book and a heaping plate of frites!
Head to Carette’s Trocadero location for coffee, tea, croissants and macarons in the morning! Then walk to the Eiffel Tower just a few feet away. It’s such a nice spot to relax and get your bearings for the day.
This cafe near the Palais Royal serves the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Cozy up under one of their heaters in the winter and people watch all afternoon!
Take a moment from a full day of walking and sightseeing to pop into this darling coffee shop in the Marais. Enjoy their avocado toast and a latte. If you’re craving something sweet – head around the corner to Le Moulin de Rosa Bakery which has one of the best almond croissants I’ve ever tasted.
