A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of getting a private tour of the Met. It was a once in a lifetime experience and something I will never forget. Being able to wander around the museum, early in the morning without any crowds, was truly magical. You can read more about the #EmptyMet tours here – I highly recommend you do it whether you’re a local or just visiting. I used to spend almost every weekend uptown when I first moved to the city and forgot how peaceful it is up there! One of my girlfriends lives near Bergdorfs and took me to a spot called The East Pole for lunch the other day. I ordered the macro plate and carrot salad – both were sooooo fresh and delicious. I loved the low key ambiance (which is sometimes tricky to find uptown) and gourmet, farm to table menu. It will be going on my App very soon ;)
