When it came to choosing my getting ready outfit for the wedding, I knew I wanted to do something different. Originally I had ordered this beautiful lace robe, but because my dress was lace – I didn’t want to overdo it with lace in my photos. I chose this stunning silk slip dress instead and wore it right before I put my dress on. Truth be told, I actually got ready (aka did my hair and makeup) in a super fluffy, oversized robe, but for my special “getting ready” photos I wore the silk slip dress. It was perfect, and now I can wear it again and again for several other occasions! I also own it in black.

Silk Slip Dresses
In addition to the Fleur du Mal slip dress I wore, I wanted to share a few other similar options. This one is almost identical (and would be a fun after party dress as well!), this one with feathers on the bottom is quite festive, this one with lace is under $80 – also available here, and I love the flutter sleeves on this one. The Fleur du Mal dress also comes in a short version.
Bridal Robes
This was the original robe I had planned on wearing, but again, because my dress was lace – it was too similar. It’s gorgeous though, and I know I’ll find another occasion to wear it – even on our honeymoon! This one is almost identical and a fraction of the price – also available here. This robe with black piping and the word Mrs. is so chic – also available here. These would be great bridesmaids robes, this one hits below the knee, and this one is under $100.
Bridal PJs
My sister and all of her bridesmaids wore these cute matching Eberjey PJs – you can have them personalized which makes a great gift – also available here in all white! This feather trim PJ set is darling and these are fun silky PJ sets.
