Friday Night in Paris

Let’s be real, on most Friday nights you’ll find me curled up on my couch, with takeout, my dog, and a great movie.  I love staying in on the weekends and waking up refreshed in the morning.  BUT sometimes it is fun to get dolled up, sip on a few cocktails, and dance the night away with friends!  When I was in Paris last month, my girlfriend and I had a blast visiting spots like Bar Hemingway at the Ritz Paris – which makes some of the prettiest cocktails I’ve ever seen (check them out on my Travel App), and Hotel Costes.

My drink of choice is always a dirty martini, extra dirty.  If they don’t have that or if I’m in the mood for something more refreshing I go with a cucumber martini, a French 75 (with vodka instead of gin), or a club soda with vodka and lemon.  I like my cocktails to be citrusy, tangy and not overly sweet or full of additives.

If you haven’t already visited Bar Hemingway – you must go!  It’s so quaint + cozy.  They add gorgeous roses to every drink, and have some really inventive flavor combos on their menu.  You’ll be in awe of the Ritz lobby when you walk in – serious jaw to the floor reaction!!!  The chandeliers, the velvet, the flowers – every detail is perfection.

Friday Night Look

I wore this beautiful AS by DF embellished dress for our fun night out.  I love rocking a little embellishment or fringe when I go out.  Also, I love a cream dress for evening.  It’s a nice change from the sea of black dresses you usually see, and cream just looks really beautiful and ethereal on!  I currently have my eye on this Self Portrait white dress for spring.  It could easily be a daytime or evening look depending on what shoes you wear with it.  I can see myself wearing it with a beige trench and Chanel flats.  This is another great option – and under $100.
