Sunflower Field at Sunset

Provence, FR

TGIF!  The weather has been absolutely amazing here in LA and I’m so excited to have my sister and dad visiting me this weekend.  We went for a hike in Malibu yesterday with the pup, and are having a big BBQ at my house tomorrow with all of my aunts, uncles and cousins.  My dad is making his famous teriyaki flank steak and I’m whipping up my chocolate chia truffle balls for dessert!  I’m getting soooo nostalgic just looking at these photos from Provence.  On our last night there, Talun and I got whisked away to the sunflower fields around the corner from our hotel in a mint green vintage VW bug c/o L’Occitane.  It was the absolute cutest car and kinda makes me want to get a fun “weekend” convertible ride ;)  These sunflowers were INSANELY big – like 8 feet tall big!  We caught the light at the perfect time (sunset/golden hour) and Talun and I were saying how this may have been one of our favorite/most magical shoots to date.  If you haven’t been to Provence already – I highly, highly recommend visiting.  Out of all of the places I’ve had the pleasure of traveling to, it was one of the most unique and the local people were so sweet.  I mean, the scenery is reason enough to go right?  Have a lovely weekend!
