TGIF! I’m back home for the next few weeks and back to my regular blogging schedule wahoo! These pictures are from my recent trip to Aspen. I bought this beautiful herringbone coat right before my trip and sadly it sold out, but I linked to a ton of similar options (like this and this) below. I love a classic cut coat and know I’ll have this one for years to come. I’ve been super picky about what I’ve been buying lately and it feels really good. I only want to buy pieces I can see myself wearing for 10+ years.
I want pieces that are timeless, quality, and feel 100% “me.” I have always steered clear of ultra trendy items, but have had an even stronger aversion to them as of late. Maybe I’ve been inspired by Marie Kondo, or maybe it’s turning 30 that’s solidified this, but regardless it’s just nice to look around my closet and see beautiful staples that I can mix and match with anything at any time.
Speaking of closet…
Since returning from Aspen I did a little early spring cleaning and listed a bunch of pieces on Poshmark! I’m also going to be doing another designer luxury bag and shoe sale via email – so be sure to subscribe to my newsletter to get access! This Fendi bag I’m wearing here has been one of my favorites for the past 5-6 years. It has held up in the snow, sleet, and rain and has a fabulous little cross body strap that makes it really versatile. I’ve been eyeing the light grey color…and also this Fendi bag in the new “Peekaboo” style.
These Rag & Bone booties have also been in my closet for years…7 to be exact! They are definitely due for a shoe shine/professional cleaning, but man have they stood the test of time. 10000% worth the $ and the only black booties I wear. They’re made of buttery soft leather so they don’t give you blisters and the chunky block heels allows you to walk in them for hours!
What are some of your favorite classic staple pieces? Have you been in a major spring cleaning kick too?! Doesn’t it feel good?! Enjoy your weekend :)
Such a beautiful trip photos … I absolutely adore Aspen in the Winter.

Lately I’ve been more conscious about what I buy as well, I feel like it’s something that people are doing more and more and I think it’s great for the planet that there isn’t as much waste. The coat is really pretty and I love the length, if I saw it on the rack it probably would throw me off but seeing it on someone actually looks really good.
That coat really is timelessly beautiful. I love a good coat that I can wear for years.
The Style Intermission
I still don’t quite have the gusto to wear white pants outside of the Memorial/Labor Day window, but you’re pulling it off so well it makes me want to try!!
