Best Gifts For Him

I’ve learned a LOT about what type of gifts men like – and don’t like – over the years. It’s funny, they don’t really love getting clothes (unless it’s something classic like a coat), but they do LOVE things like candles and fancy body wash – seriously! You can never go wrong with a bottle of booze, or any sort of cocktail accessory, and any tech item will for sure be a hit. There are a bunch of experiential things men love too, like a pedicure, massage, or a round of golf. Below are Thomas approved gifts for every man in your life! The Our Place Always Pan

We’ve been cooking at home more than ever and one thing that has made a WORLD of a difference in our kitchen, has been the Our Place Always pan.  This pan is legit the best piece of cookware I’ve ever owned (trust me, I’ve tried my fair share!)  Thomas uses it every single morning to make eggs and I use it all the time to make steamed zucchini (my fave veggie.) The Our Place Always Pan So why is this pan so amazing?  It’s lightweight, the perfect shape for cooking anything, non-stick and completely nontoxic.  In case you didn’t already know, many non-stick pans are toxic!  The Our Place Always pan coating is free of toxins such as; Teflon, PTFEs and PFAs.  It is SO easy to cook with (things like an omelette turn out perfect), and even easier to clean.  As someone who hates doing dishes, that is a major plus. The quality is really impressive as well.  We’ve used it everyday since March, often multiple times a day, and it still looks brand new.  I love that it comes with a steaming tray which makes cooking veggies seamless, and a sleek wooden spoon that you can rest on the handle.  When you open it out of the box, it’s extremely aesthetically pleasing and compact. The Perfect Gift With the holidays coming up, it also makes a great gift.  I’m personally going to be sending one to my sister, dad, and Thomas’ sister who loves to cook.  The Always pan comes in 5 really beautiful colors that would look good in any kitchen. A Special Discount Use code KAT10 for $10 off any Always pan and be sure to see how I love using my pan on Stories.  I’ll be sharing tips on how I keep it looking brand new as well! Our Christmas Tree

This has been my favorite Christmas season thus far. No doubt it’s because I’ve been able to spend it with Thomas and his family who LOVE Christmas and fully embrace the holiday. I love that Thomas insisted we get a real tree (I’ve never had a real tree in my NYC apartment!) this year and carried it all the way home. It smells SO good and was 100% worth it. We’ve been playing Christmas music in our apartment all month long, and talking about what we’ll be cooking for his family’s annual Christmas Eve party! Emotions During The HolidaysChristmas hasn’t always been such a joyful time for me though. To be honest, it’s actually been a bit stressful and lonely since my parents divorced and moved on opposite sides of the country. I’ve often felt uncomfortable trying to decide who to spend Christmas with each year, and bummed out that we don’t have a special set of traditions. Can anyone else relate? Whatever you’re doing for the holidays – just remember you’re not alone, and you’re not the only one who sometimes feels blue this time of year! Holidays bring up a TON of emotions for people and it’s normal to FEEL ALL THE FEELS! Christmas Tree DecorNow let’s talk about my Christmas tree and holiday decor! Every year I pick a color scheme and choose ornaments, wrapping paper and decor that tie into it. For 4 years in a row now, I’ve chosen silver + gold as my color scheme. It’s just so classic, elegant and works well in any home. You may remember my West Village tree, and my Venice Beach house tree – I loved both so much! This year’s Soho tree was full of these beautiful silver ornaments that were insanely reasonable, as well as gold balls that I found at a random Christmas tree stand around the corner from my apartment. I mixed and matched the colors and sizes, and added a simple strand of lights around the tree. Also, I used a black blanket as a tree skirt since I couldn’t find one I loved online, and tied a black grosgrain ribbon as a tree topper. I picked up silver + gold wrapping paper and ribbon at Paper Source and used extra ornaments as little decorative touches on everyone’s gifts. Thank youThank you so much for reading, supporting me, and following along, I’m so grateful. Sending you lots of love wherever you are in the world. Merry Christmas Eve!
